Well I got the lib back last night. New converter and fuel tank. I guess the problem with the tank was down the fill tube is some kind of spring loaded ball valve. They took it apart and found that it was stuck. So a new tank was installed. Filled it up right after I picked it up and I didn't wash my shoes with gas. I have to go through a learning phase for the ******. They told me after about 200 miles I should be good to go. So all and all it came to 388 with three days of car rental. I think it was cool that the dealer contacted Chrysler on my behalf and work a deal. Hopefully I'm done with the big stuff.

Thanks again.

Here we go again!!

Well after about 2 months of having the new TC replaced I have the same issues. A lot of vibration from under the jeep at 45 - 50MPH then a lot of shifting and the feel of going over rumble strips, loss of speed and rpm go up but no go. I took it in and the dealer looked it over and count not find anything wrong. They told me they put more additive in the Trans. My reply was WHAT? I was told they do this after a TC replacement. Then I was told they added more. So I asked do I always have to add this to the Trans? they said if it runs better then yes. They told me to drive it foe a few weeks and if the problem doesn't get better they would order a new TC. They couldn't even tell me how much of what ever it was they added they put in. Well it's still acting the same. Anyone ever hear of this type of fix before? Thanks guys.

Pissed off the thing only has 45K on an 06:mad:

All you should have paid for was the Gas Tank related stuff. Everything else is considered under the Powertrain warranty, IF you have it. Do all them come with the PrwTrn warranty? Usually, once the 3/36 is up, it's up, and that's that. Mine was certified 8/80 as used, so I got the balance of that. I am having power steering leaks, trying to narrow them down, got one patched temporarily, but there is another one. Looks like it's leaking where the steering shaft goes into the rack... I cleaned the high pressure hose, and wrapped it in that high pressure rubber stuff, it's holding, no more fluid on that hose...
