New to the KJ'S

So tonight I bought my first Jeep Liberty! It's a blue 2002 sport.Man I already love this jeep. It only has 77k miles and was a 1 owner.Now I want to put mobil 1 fully synthetic in her, but not sure if the previous owner was running synthetic? Should I just use standard oil or synthetic? Any help much appreciated! Thanks

Welcome to the forum! Most here in KJ use Mobil1 synthetic oil and a good filter like Mobil1, Purolator etc.
You may find that if the jeep has been run on regular dino oil like mine was, when I switched to synthetic that the oil got dirty quickly, in the first two changes.
The synthetic was cleaning the engine very well. If I remember right my first syn oil change happened with new filter at 1500 miles and the second at 3000 miles.
BTW full synthetic in Mobil1 is the extended performance jug.

Better fuel mileage and quick engine starts in cold weather as well.

Welcome! Use the synthetic if you can afford it because it will help the engine last longer and it is better for cold weather start us.

Synthetic oil costs less to use than conventional oil does.
I use Mobil 1 in all my vehicles.
