hello all... i think i finally found a good forum to join now that i have my new toy. I just picked up my first jeep ever, and black 06 liberty renegade with the off road package. I gotta tell ya, i love drivin this thing in the snow storms up here in canada!!!

I may be new to the jeep scene but have been in the modded car scene for almost 10 years now, and have built numerous modded drag cars. It basically got too tough to drive those things in the winter, and i was tired of driving around in a beater [-X

Anyways, i'm looking forward to learning a lot on here...

Watch those stock tires in snow. But since you have esp and traction control you shouldnt need to worry about the tires to much. Computer takes care of that for ya.

welcome aboard..u may be the first 06 owner here

might just be, if not, one of the first few.

Welcome aboard! Definately let us know how you like the new traction control system on your Jeep! I'm curious to see how well it does, and what other owners opinions are on it. \:D/

(welcome)

well the tcs was adapted from benz i believe. It has an on off button on the steering column. It doesn't exaclty re route power, but applies brake pressure i think to stop the wheel from spinning. In 4LO it turns off automatically, but 4HI it remains on till you turn it off. It does help out in 2 wheel alot though.
