Greetings from Michigan, new to planet KJ but not the Jeep Galaxy. Thanks for having me.just joined today, saying hello, sharing my plan.
I've built, restored, an lusted after about every classic Jeep out there. 40s to our 14 JKU. Military flattys are my passion, but anything Jeep is my blood. I joined this forum because I am about to embark on tossing a 4.7 into my 03 KJ. Seems pretty straight forward, nothing I can't handle, with the exception of clarity due to my sometimes foggy 54 yr old brain, over thinking, overlooking, or over doing key details that lend the twists of this plot. Exhaust manifolds, tone ring, etc. I have read about all there is on this swap, but I look forward to working with you all that have practical knowledge, or experience with this .. again ty for having me, an Cheers

Welcome, there has been a lot more talk about v8 swapping than actual posted results. I believe where there is a will there is a way. Good luck in your project and great looking bunch of toys you got there.

I bought a Mad Max cult of the V8 decal and slapped it on. Fastest swap ever!

Installing a V8 into one of these is like doing an SFAs
many started , but few finished ( at least done right way to last )
Must be like me, first Jeep in my driveway was back in 1970, been at least one there ever since
Jeeps and Harleys are always good choices
Foggy brain at only 54 ?
I must be doing well at 67 LOL
