Hi from Eastern NC! :)

just purchased my 2004 stock Jeep Liberty 3.7 4x4 trail edition the first of this month. Replaced the radiator & reservoir and some other maintenance stuff.

I’m new to Jeeps so looking to see what other mods people have done? Pictures would be great!

It’ll be my daily driver but I might have some fun with it too...

heres what I have in mind so far:
paint - probably stay black with flakes
Wheels - more aggressive, probably blacked out rims
Replacing with double den flat screen radio
Possibly adding fog lights
LED headlights
Grill guard
Kayak rack

anyone have brand recommendations or tips on anything?

Thanks for any help!

First thing before going wonkers is full maintenance
NGK copper spark plugs
best air filter you can buy like NAPA Gold no hot air suckers
change front and rear diff fluids
transfer case fluid, transmission
power steering fluid
flush out cooling system with new MOPAR thermostat and HOAT antifreeze

after doing that then you can have a good base to go off of
LED Headlights LMAO just say no
grill guard bolts onto where your tow hooks go in front and are cheap junk, just say no unless you just like going to the mall and looking at it

I would save up and do a good aftermarket suspension like OME, bet it is sagged at least an inch or more
measure from middle of the left front wheel to bottom of the flare, if lower than 19 inches it is sagged
My 04 I bought new I replaced the suspension before I had 20,000 miles on it, spring rates too low and rode terrible ( they all do stock )

Thanks for the info!

Quick question, does yours lock itself then not unlock when you turn it off And open the driver door? I locked myself out this morning with the key still in the ignition because it self locks but doesn’t unlock :(

None of mine will lock if key is in ignition, now couple of times on the 05 key was there but not fully in and doors locked, thankfully was at home LOL
But they lock at a certain speed, then unlock when you stop and pull the key
My 03-04 only unlocks driver door, 05 unlocks all doors
