New guy here with a question about leaking water

Hello everyone. Names Greg. Live in northern Il. Have been a Yj/Cherokee guy for years, and just purchased an '05 Renegade for my daughter. First car. Have had the Jeep for a week, and just yesterday, noticed puddle of water, not coolant, coming from the frame rail just behind the passenger tire. Any ideas on where this may coming from? it is winter and am not running the ac, and was not using defrost when this occurred. Any help would be appreciated. Even though you don't turn it on the AC pump is running.

Welcome to the forum Greg.
If you look under hood you will see a small drain tube on passenger side /firewall area around AC evaporator that will drip water as the air dries the cabin area.
It is good that the tube is not blocked and draining normally.
In the summer after running AC/ you will often see a large puddle of water passenger side behind tire area of the jeep, it often gets my attention !!
Then I often just :shakehead:and wonder what am I worried about..it's just water :icon_lol:
