Already built ready to go ARB won't ever let you down. It is pricey but consider the cost of repair after hitting animal(s) aka deer or accidentally rear ending someone's vehicle. Just re-paint or line-x and move on. It also looks good.:gr_grin:

But assuming he is not lifted wouldn't work to well for him. But yes ARB is the best

Is that due to the stock springs not being able to handle the added weight of the ARB bumper?

aftermarket bumper are usually less flexible then the OEM. they fit and go on, but the quality is not there. but you save a lot of $$. I would buy them -as a bumper can get damaged quickly. It wont hurt so much if a cheap bumper get damaged.

but if you can sell the old bumper, it makes it easier to buy the OEM one.
