Mystery Socket in Dash

2005 UK spec CRD (right hand drive) ...
Under a dash flap I have an unused socket, can anyone enlighten me of its purpose please? Is it for the roof light bar option? If it is where do this bit of loom emerge?
I'd like to fit bumper (fender) mounted spots and wondering if this is a wiring option?

Yes, I think that’s for the roof light switch.

if it is for roof lights wiring would go up into head liner
