Ok so after much thought and reading I have finally decided to go with coating my rims with Chassis Saver #934 Silver-Aluminum

This seems to be the most durable option, plus I will be buying a can of it to cover some of the undercarriage that has rust..

Thoughts?

And the reasoning behind using that instead of just good wheel paint is ?????

I've heard of people complaining that too many coats of Plastidip threw their wheel balance off at higher speeds. I've used dip on more than a couple sets of rims without issue, but this stuff looks like it might be a little heavy.

I've had great results bringing wheels back from the dead with self etching primer, wheel paint, and clear after hitting them with a brass brush.

No rhyme or reason to my decision, it was something I would have on hand, and I was throwing out there to see if anyone has done it or had any good/bad experiences.

I'm with dude1116 especially with gloss paint. Makes brush marks worst.
