Somewhere between being sane and insane!
The comp versions are supposed to one of the best, but then again you have to be sponsered by Maxxis to even have a chance to get those.

The radial version I can't say as never heard anyone running the radial versions.

just south of doucheville
They are directional
So what would you do for a spare?
Rotation would be front to back only
As far as a spare you could get any cheep
M/T in the same size and hope for the best

Thanks Troy, good to know.

Secondary to traction, I guess my only real concern was treadwear. Don't want a really soft tyre that's gonna wear out quickly.

Good point, J. I reckon I'd still get 5 of them. Only 50% chance of putting the spare on reverse. Even then it would only be temporary.
I guess to rotate properly, you'd have to take 'em off the rims. Not the end of the world...
