Like what kind of extra prep work are we talking?

Need to sand them smooth,then spray with primer with high adhesion promoter content(for plastics),then scuff that before applying the bedliner.


Labor intensive to do correctly and not damage the plastic parts when sanding.

I used the rustoleum truck bedliner in the can on all my flares and bumpers. I have an 06' sport. I sanded really good, cleaned really good, taped everything off and applied about 4-5 coats of the bedliner. It has been about 1.5 years and still holding strong, no chips or peeling also no fading from the sun, total cost was about $60 for bedliner and materials.
