Today and old Wrangler drove by me, I was like a whimp next to it, it stood higher, beefier and MUCH MEANER! I wanted to get his tires, his lift and his mean looks.. It was possibly 92-96 something like that... Arghhh

Well it couldn't have possibly been a '96, so we need to rule that out right now.

(There was no '96 Wrangler.)

Yea, they didn't make any for the 96 MY. .... YJ up to 95 (squaire eyes) - none in 96 - and round eyes TJ in 97 (started making TJ's in 96 as a 97 model)

Don't forget about the late production '95s to tide them over to the '97 TJ. ;)

I remember when the first TJ came out... it went something like this:

My 9 year old self: "Oh wow, a new Jeep!"
Mom: "Oh."

Sadly, it was purple... yuck.
