I have 03 jeep liberty that I have had for about a week now, the other day I was driving it and It was running rough then the engine light was flashing I pulled over and shut it off, waited A minute and started it again and it runs fine. Checked plugs all look good and gap is correct and I checked the asd relay and it ohm'd out fine. Any suggestions what to so next??????

It was a multiple cylinder misfire code and I cleared the code with a reader

I had an episode quite a few months back where I had an immediate misfire when I started it up. Engine was warm as I had recently driven it. Threw a #6 misfire with flashing CEL. I immediately shut it down (still in my driveway). I erased the code and started it back up and hasn't done it since. Must be about 5-6 months now. Still have no idea what it was.

Check out this thread, maybe some help in it.

The weird thing is the same night when I put the code reader on it, we'll it was sitting idle it completely shut off. But there was any rough idle or shake it was like I turned the key off
