led bulb does not come on when headlights are on

i put in 2 led tailights today and for some reason they work great when i hit the brakes but do not turn on when i have the headlights on. what the hell is going on?

I've read something about this before. Can't remember what, relay ,but PM TJKJ 2002 and ask him.

i mean i tested everything when i first installed it then when night fell it stopped working

just tested it with car off then on then with engine on and bulbs still do not turn on with headlights

Could be a bad set of bulbs or there reversed.Try taking the bulbs out and inserting them a 180 degrees from the way they are in there now.

Do the LED bulbs have the same metal contact points into the actual plug that the stock 3157 lights had?

Maybe they didn't send you the dual filament replacement? Other than that though, the reversed light will usually have them put out the brighter light when the tail lights are on, no? That's how mine are!
