KK and KJ at Butcher Jones and Bull Dog Canyon - 8/23/08

Weird to say, but an 'old school' KJ (no ABS, no ESP, no descent control) and a new KK loaded with the above went out for a morning run.

Thanks AZKKPilotC182T for letting me try out the new rig. The descent control is amazing yet kinda takes the fun and pucker factor out of sliding down hills sideways :). Despite the stock rubber, climbing hills was also fairly easy with the ABS traction control.

I'm STILL having issues getting over how big the KK looks when in fact, it's not much bigger than the KJ... just squared off.

Hmm that's weird, I can normally see over the KK's roof when I stand next to one. I need to climb on one of my tires to see over my KJ. This KK seems to be just as high as your KJ...

Is this KK lifted?

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing :D

Looking pretty stock to me. Probably just camera or hill angles.

Yeah, he's stock. I have a Powertrax in the rear. My guess is that the 'systems' would allow him to crawl better up and down typically. I usually need to maintain momentum going up, and I need to really watch the brakes going down. But that's half the fun!
