Putting in a plug for your employers are you Craig? :D

Actually I never thought that Action would sell anything but truck caps. I should drop into one of their stores sometime.

Here in northern New Brunswick I shop at my local CarQuest, A.S.A.P. in Bathurst, National 4WD in Fredericton, BOCAR in Caraquet and JanSam in Shediac Bridge. PM me if you want more details such as phone numbers & websites.

is US sellers not sending to Canada a problem? i just assumed they all did.

Most US businesses do ship to Canada, but there are some that just simply will not. Like was stated by matthewp, by the time a $900 US ARB Bumper(for example) is shipped here and taxed...it ends up nearly at $1300 CAN at the end of the day.Sad, isn't it?

Ebay is a killer though. Since Paypal has sunk their claws into that marketplace, sellers are force to follow their rules for "protection"...which means no shipping outside the continental US. :(

Canadian Parts update

Reviving this thread after doing a lot of pricing and shopping last little while, let's add a few links. Here are a few places I've actually used, called and/or got quotes that are IN Canada and reasonable or competitive with the big places (like say National):

For ARB/OME:
www.arbcanada.com - Ouipack Montreal

For Bilstein:
www.bilsteincanada.com - Essex in BC

For cheap Tires:
www.pmctire.com - Ontario/Quebec

For Wheels and various parts:
www.premierpartscanada.com/index.php - Eastern Ontario

To search wreckers Canada-wide - awesome
http://www.car-part.com/

I live really close to Sonshine wreckers that have a lot of libbys and am willing to lend a hand within reason...
http://www.sonshineautoparts.com/?index_en.html or they are on EBAY

If anyone knows a good UCDA dealer or restorer that can access fresh Libby wrecks at Adesa Canada's Impact Auto auction system now that would be a nice gift to Canadian KJers...
http://www.impactauto.ca/

(Will also be ordering from online Chrysler dealers upstate NY or MI and will post experiences elsewhere, (fasteners and isolators etc...), with details Canadian shipping, duty, brokerage etc... your feedback with US dealers welcome pls PM me!)

Cheers!

More vendors, more links.

For various jeep gear shipped from Canada:

www.northridge4x4.ca

www.zoneoffroad.ca

For gears, motive in Canada:

www.iwerearendsonly.com

www.canadawideparts.com

For decent aftermarket exhausts, cat-back systems in Canada:

www.hottexhaust.com (Magnaflow like 15721)

www.autopartsway.ca (Dynomax like 19392)

For OEM Chrysler dealer parts from USA watch your shipping and brokerage:

www.makeitmoparparts.com

www.wholesalemopar.com

(If you can get stuff shipped via USPS (international US postal service) instead of UPS you can avoid brokerage fees. Note that US made parts should also qualify for duty status under NAFTA... but YMMV)

Check these out

http://www.mbrp.com/?page=products&make=Jeep&part=S5510409

Got one from MBRP off of EBay, delivered to my door for $346.00 CAD. From that link you can go to their Dyno results too.

They have a very slick new site with dealer locator.

http://mbrpautomotive.com/index.php

Nice to see a shop from my old stomping grounds in Hunstville, ON going global. Now if I can just find a stainless system for about the same as a Dynomax or Magnaflow would definitely go Canadian!

The S5510 comes in a few flavours - stainless or installer aluminized seem to be the big differences in pricepoint. Will start looking for this summer... if anyone finds an MBRP dealer in Canada (or local in ON) with good service and price post it up!
