IF (and this is a huge IF) i ever had the money for just a winch i would totally go this route mounting wise. Really like how the stock-ish style is maintained for the front fascia while giving you immense functionality as well. The only thing I would add to the backbone is some sort of arched hoop to protect the winch from limbs/debri out on the trail. With all my luck i'd get it all mounted and whack it on a tree within the first hour...

Not once you start adding new steel bumpers and winches, etc. Tommudd and 03CDKJ on Lost are both maybe running them now with good results.

Yep running a gasser Frankenlift with OME 790 springs and rancho RSX 17505 shocks
Ran OME 927s with Ranchos for over 100,000 miles thought it was time for a change

For real? Isn't they too much for a gasser?

As soon as I have some extra disposable income, I'll buy a couple of OME CRD
coil springs.
