I've had zero issues with this blue beauty.

I just did about 350 miles yesterday and today (overnight trip) and I averaged exactly 22 MPG, most of that was at 70 MPH.

It rides like a dream and I feel like I'm king of the road when I'm in it!

It's almost like I have a secret and nobody knows it but me, he he.

Notice my rpms are lower at a higher speed. You must have the 45rfe ******. Thats one thing I would like about it, it doesnt need to downshift as much since the rpms are always a tad higher, but I probably get better mpg.

Yeah, you've got the newer instrument cluster - the 02s and 03s had the other style (separate light). I turned 70K about 1 1/2 weeks ago, doesn't really seem like I've had it that long :-s

I'm looking at your instruments and I know they changed the background color but something looks different. My speedo is on the left and tach on the right. The 02 and 04 pics are opposite. Just noticed.

I like the pic's at speed but be careful. I wonder if the rpm's could be different because of different gearing also. The tow pack is probably a 3.73 rear and what is standard 3.55? What gearing do you have? So even with a different ****** it's still very close. Interesting.

No worries, I've always been curious about that myself.

I do have the 3.73 gearing and the 45RFE transmission.

When the "do you use the overdrive all the time" thread came out I tried driving around without the overdrive engaged (under 50 MPH) for about a week. I didn't like it; the transmission sounded like it was working too much and shifting needlessly.

Yeah, I would imagine it would, though I usually go pretty easy on a new car until it has 1,000-2,000 miles or so...after that, I don't mind setting the cruise on 85mph for hours on end.

I've done my fair share of trips driving from Kingman, AZ and ABQ...just not in the Jeep yet.

You mean door panels? The Limiteds have the "premium" door panels which really just means a plush vinyl and the chrome door pulls. There was some model that had color contrasting on the panel. Black tops, tan bottoms, etc...looked awful.
