Here is my issue. The timing chain ticks on my 05 Liberty. I took it all apart and replaced the two hydraulic tensioners. It still ticks. Using a stethoscope you can tell its the chain whacking the little piece on the hydraulic tenioner on the passenger side at least that it what it sounds like. I guess I have to take it back apart I just don't know what to do differently. Any insight would be awesome.

Just an FYI its not the hydraulic lifters I changed them as well just to be sure, and since they were only like 11 bucks each. The car doesn't tick when its started dead cold but after 1 min or so it starts ticking and doesn't stop.

Carbon build up. It's an ignition ping. Mine did it to until I had the engine decarbonizing done at a BG products dealer
