Don't really know too much about suspension on newer vehicles. But I know if I saw stacking on springs like that in my 78' I would be nervous!

Kinda what I thought. Any body have a ballpark on difference in price of just replacing them and doing a small lift?

Your CV joints appear to be perfectly level still, as they should be on the 2002's. Nothing to stress about there.

Cant hurt to get some OME HD springs and shocks all around though. I wouldnt like my Jeep if I didnt have an OME suspension.

All we gotta see is your signature that shows its a 2002. Its done. Get OME 927s and 948s. My 04 with 40K was already sagging, I could tell just by looking at its stance.

I have 74k on mine, and I have sagged no more than an inch, maybe less. My KJ looks higher when I park next to an older one. Granted, it's been driven all highway...

so now the question since I will be pulling apart the suspension, should I lift it while im at it?
I would. You aren't going to pay all that much more (if any) for a small lift as opposed to buying stock parts. It will make you happier and will make you KJ look better. My $0.02.

Ok any thought on a good kit. I'll give a little background as to where i'm at. I am new to being able to take my vehicle off road. I would love to learn some basics and go from there. I have been trailing a few times (not in my jeep, in a Rubicon). Silver lake is close enough to have fun but I would also like to be able to trail somewhere not most people can go or would go. (wanna take the wife camping). Would like to take it to Bundy Hill someday. So with some of this in mind how much of a lift make since? I personally was thinking 2.5" Oh yeah and I NEED to get some man tire on this bad dog!!!!

Can't go wrong with the tried and tested OME/Rancho lift, but seeing as Rancho discontinued the RSX17505, maybe the Blisteins will work nicely.

The once-popular Rancho RSX shocks have been discontinued. You'll have to find a suitable substitute to go with your OME springs.

or did they make and rsx17505 for the rear as well. I'm new to lifts but it wouldn't make since to me to have 2 of the same part numbers!!!
