Hi, I want to buy a jeep liberty sport 2003, the guy told me that 3 valve lifter are making noise, and it's not expensive to replace. The jeep is find and in good shape , he ask 2500$ cad is it good? how much is to replace lifter?

Depending on the problem, yes. My engine issue ended up being $250 to repair... not horrible. Not sure what it would take to fix the one that the OP is talking about, however.

if he's only asking that much there must be something else he's not telling you. If you already had a KJ then I'd say go for it and use it for spare parts if you can't fix it.

if he's only asking that much there must be something else he's not telling you. If you already had a KJ then I'd say go for it and use it for spare parts if you can't fix it.

You would be better off paying more and getting a better KJ to start
off with!
If you do consider it, I'd start with getting a full vehicle inspection via a CAA certified shop and getting a quote for the cost of the repair.
Then whatever price you get quoated, at least double it!

If it is the one in the link that BjBnet posted and you have the resources ($$$$.$$) it looks pretty good as a project...
