Interchanging Doors

I have a 2005 Liberty & the bottom of the doors on the passenger side have some rust problems . I found doors off a 2004 model & am wondering if they'll fit . I recently read a thread where someone had installed doors off an 05 onto an 02 or vice-versa if I remember correctly .
Can anyone tell me for sure if the 05 & 04 doors will interchange ? Thanks in advance !

I just found the thread I was talking about & the person said they put a door off an 06 onto an 02 .

I think I've found the answer to my question . There are several jeep liberty doors on ebay & they say that they will fit 02 - 07 .

They should...the door trim is different but just swap that out and take the logos off the 04 door and that should be fine.

Finding one the correct color would definitely be a plus.

Someone close to me has all 4 doors off an 04 & all 4 are in excellent condition . They are a reddish orange color & my KJ is silver . I'm thinking of swapping all 4 & maybe doing a door matching stripe or something on the hood . What do you think ? Any suggestions ?

I wouldn't do it, but that's me. But silver is a common color I think. I would check all salvage yards too.

Your key would be different for ignition and door, just FYI
