My Liberty is a 2002 Sport with the dealer radio (tape drive and controls for CD changer). Is it possible to connect any type of remote CD changer to this unit, or does it have to be the dealer supplied changer, ie. are they universal?
The radio has controls for 5 CD's, if I fit a 10 CD changer, will I be able to access all 10?
Any comments appreciated.

there is an adapter available that allows you to use after market changers....
the adapter basically allows you to use the changers controls on the sock HU, and you can use select changers w/o having to use RF signals...

here is a link to the site..

they also have aux adapters, albeit a bit more pricey, but you can hook up anything to it, ie ipods, or anything similar....
