So the Backbone keeps getting delayed for whatever reason (fun fact, got my Rock Lizard rock rails sooner and never had to call them).

I have all the other stuff here to install the HD springs front and rear. I was waiting to install the new springs till the winch and backbone was on so that I could adjust the clevis and stuff accordingly. However, would it be a viable option to install the new springs before the winch is on? I was thinking of putting salt bags on the bumper or radiator support to simulate the weight. Would it be an issue to install the new suspension, get aligned, then weigh it down with the winch?

Thanks for the advice.

Well you'll need an alignment once you install the lift anyways
So get that alignment then when the Detours gets there adjust accordingly and by then you'll need another alignment anyways
