Welcome to the forums.
May I ask what problems your Jeep is experiencing?
Have you scanned for any trouble codes first?

I believe the electronics programming changed between 2010-11, so the 11 & 12 should be compatible. However, TIPM’s are not cheap, so I recommend following LibertyTC’s lead and help us verify that’s your issue.

Multiple lights on dashboard, intermitent blaring of the panic sound, battery discharging unnecessarily and refusing to start. My mechanic suggested the replacement of the TIPM and the ECM

^ That sounds expensive $$ ^
Sure would be nice to retrieve the stored codes from a Snap ON ultra Modis shop scanner & post them back, to really view what's going on.
