No longer made.

Poor piston design saw to that.

Surprises me nobody has come up with a better piston
design for a 3.7 engine.

I guess there is just not enough interest for it!

Yeah someone had a piston designed for it, never saw the green light though.. Why don't you make it Ryan? :D

If I had the cash to do it I would.
Between my Pa and I, we have the skill necessary.
You just need a few hundred large for failures and mishaps.
And then it still would be of limited interest for most KJ owners.
Most being of the daily driver/soccer ma-pa type and the "other"
KJ owners want a look more than performance LBL!
Only a handful would appreciate something like a set of pistons
that would actually build a strong engine.

Of course, it wouldn't just be pistons.
Then there would be the rest of the engine/power train...

At the end of the day, I guess that's why there is NO
after market engine support for the 3.7 liter V6 engine.

Less expensive(I don't like using the word "Cheaper"= To me thats a word you use for a corner worker!)
To just build up a proven small block V8 or just build another model of Jeep!

Most folks still don't realize or cannot accept/tolerate that a KJ is in fact a very usable Jeep model off road!

The amount of times I've ben told to "Buy a real Jeep"

Drives me nuts.
