I think that is wishful thinking. Both sensors come with a lifetime warranty. Hard to think they are not made correctly. The thing hasn't idled right since I picked it up used with 74K on it. It is certainly running better now than it has since I got it.

I kinda screwed myself when I got it. It had been in a rear end collision and I didn't notice. The rear bumper is a different color and I came to find the fuel sending unit floating free in the tank. The leak detection pump had also been smashed from the tank being forced forward during the collision. All fixed now.

I will be checking other sensors and see how it goes. I cant remember the plugs I put in right off the top of my head. Got them from checker, recommended for the vehicle. Platinum something or other, paid about $4.00 a piece for them.

Stuck CPS

Anyone have advice for a stuck crankshaft position sensor? I have removed the bolt and plug but the thing won't budge. I've let it soak in wd40. Seems like nothing is easy to do.

Well, It has started doing it again shortly after my last post about it. I swapped the PCV valve out today and I think that did the trick. I get that sludge that a lot of people get under the oil cap, the PCV valve was full of it as well.
