Bearing noise in my steering (left and right) when I turn slowly
Hi, the first ... I am French of New caledonia in South Pacific,
I have a Kj 2003, 3,7L V6 with 80 000Km (49700Miles). And Nothing to replace, except Disc pad and oil....
I have just add a Jet Performance ship and a K&N air filter.
My Jeep was lift... and still lift... with IronMan +4".

I would say the noise you are hearing is just the power steering pump groaning. Some people have good luck replacing the power steering fluid. You should be able to use ATF+4 in your 2003.

The power steering reservoir doesnt hold very much fluid at all so I pumped it out, filled it up, then started the Jeep and turn the wheels from far left to far right. And repeated 3 times.

Is the sound like a 'Knock'? you might be having a knuckle joint going out on the steering column. I know mine is making a little knock noise in the morning when I try to back out of my spot. unfortunately the 'knock' could be a few different front end steering components, but the steering column is most likely.
