Last year at a campsite 40 miles outside of town, I was approached by an American camper in his converted camper van, as earlier in the evening, while dark,I pulled in with the kj into my camp area, and left kj running with lights on to illuminate my campsite. He said man what kind of light bulbs you got in there, cause as you went by my site, it was like daylight. Showed him the PIAA headlights, with fogs on/off and he asked if I was on high beam when I went by, and I told him no they were on low, let me show you the high's....turned on the high beams, and he said I got to get me some of those...
Next night he returned to show me he had gone into town and got some PIAA's for his van. I asked him how much he paid and he replied $125, and stated it was the best money he ever spent cause he came up from California, never knowing what he should have bought years ago. He could not understand why it was so dark in the mountains on the way up, and now looks forward to driving back with his family safer, because of the way better road illumination, and he also said the white is easier on the eyes at night and more pleasing too. Thanks... come on over for a beer I owe you one he said.
I think he will be one happy camper now...
