Grom Ipod Intergration Kit Room

Hello I was looking at adding a grom ipod cable thaty connects in the back of the stock radio using the Cd changer port. Today I unlatched the caddy and pulled out the stereo. The only problem is I dont have enough room to work with the radio because the AC controls keep hitting the gearshift. This may sound like a stupid post but I do need some help.

pull the gear shift all the way back, then you have enough room to remove the front bezel, obviously make sure your engine is off, and your e-brake is on lol

Okay thanks now for one more question I took apart the bezzel and unscrewed the radio I was planning on running the cable thru the glovebox how do I access it?
