In Brazil is very dificult to find parts to KJ (they sell not too many), and we look to adapt from other cars. i heard that gran caravan chysler use the same brake pads and disks, have you heard about?? what about 3.7 engine?? is there another jeep or chrysler using this engine??

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
For the brakes you need brakes for a KJ,no others use the same pads or rotors. Some ZJ's may share pads with a KJ for the rear only and that is a maybe.

For the 3.7 there are many vehicles that use the same engine but they will be all Chrysler products so getting those parts will be just as hard as finding KJ parts.

No, I have not heard, BUT it wouldn't surprise me.

Why?

Automakers save millions by sharing parts between vehicles, no matter what those vehicles are.

No joke
We just sold the VW and bought a 2012 Pathfinder
and I am finding out that there are a boat load of
interchangeable parts across the Nissan truck line
guys are even putting the crawler gears for the
Xterra t-case into pathfinders

Had I known ahead of time I would have gotten the
4wd version but we needed a way to tow the TJ
and wanted to get rid of the VW due to the expense
in owning a 2.0T VW ,cheeper to drive a 20mpg average
truck based SUV then to drive that VW even at 25+ mpg
average

Slightly North of the 49° th. Parallel... In HongC
A little off topic but still along the same topic.

Buddy has a Classic Jag with electronic ignition module.
At the time that part which is an AC Delco unit sold for $789.00
Yet the GM part was $189.00!
Same part just a Jaguar sticker applied right over the AC Delco
sticker!

Hahaha... Stupid people!
