Glove box stuck

My glove box has become stuck somehow...when you pull the lever nothing happens and i have a feeling that the lock or pin or w.e has fallen off from the lever, how the hell am i suppose to get this thing open now?

Only thing i could suggest, is maybe holding the lever open, and gently pushing back and forth on the glovebox to see if you can get it to pop open.

i ended up taking a screwdriver to it and gently pried it open, luckily nothing broke
