Gas. vs Diesel Lift pump

Has anyone tried using a gasoline engines Lift pump + wiring harness in a

Diesel CRD,?

No idea what pressures either operate at.

Won’t work properly. Fuels have different viscosity. Diesel pumps have higher feet of head.

Was apprehensive about different PSI

regulator for different fuels. + To much PSI from the gasoline lift pump

I think the Facet in-line fuel pump mod called for 5 psi. Has to be a "fail-flow" pump so it'll flow fuel if it breaks.
