Gas tank skid and trailer hitch

Does one have to undo the KJ trailer hitch in order to mount the gas tank skid?

Yes. It's kinda a pain but totally worth it (I have the skid row gas tank skid)

Trailer hitch and skid are not hard, what is hard is aftermarket rear bumper, Kilby gas tank skid and the hitch now ya got your hands full:gr_grin:

Yeah, as said you need to take it all off. Skid goes on first, and hitch over the skid. Bolts might be rusted in so spray them good and it might make it easier. Also worth noting is that those bolts are "graded" due to the hitch/towing duties so if you are going to do any serious towing change the bolts.

I want a mudd bumper that has the hitch integrated into it, integrated departure skid plate, and also bolts up to the hitch frame points. that sucker would make the ass end of the jeep indestructible.
