Anyone have a fuse diagram of an 08 fuse locations? I had battery go dead twice last 2 nights. I had tried to release the shifter with the interlock switch, however something didn’t feel right after pressing it down. It releases with key and brake. I am thinking I did something in there. If I can find teh fuse that carries that manual release I figure I can charge and put battery back and pull fuse to see if I am correct?

Well, I narrowed my drain down the fuel been running continuously for a night until the battery went dead. I charged the battery today did a draw test and it was like 7 amps. Then the relays started to buzz, and i heard that whirling sound and ran straight to the left rear and it is the fuel pump running constantly. LOL, it was new 3 months ago! The fuse box smells like electrical burnt smell. Fuel pump was t least running in a full tank of gas. How?Who knows, as all I was doing was a back up camera and radio.

SO, I searched EBAY for used fuse boxes. I stumbled upon “remanned” fuse boxes. They asked for vin to “program “ the fuse boxes? never hears of that one. Used are around $125.00, remanned $225.00 and up.

I am torn between just getting another Liberty, as I have huge amounts of parts and tires/rims, taking off the new stuff I put on and although this is in good shake, runs(ran!) great, and no rot and sending it to the junk yard. Thought? Fuse box does not look hard to swap out, just confused on this programming stuff.

Sounds like bs....
I'd pull the fuse box out and see what's melted, get some photo and go scrapyard hunting.

No outward damage seen. Box didn’t smell, seemed to be the relays. Put back together and fuel pump still running slowly.

The fuse box on the KK is called the TIPM or totally integrated power module. It is half fuse box and half body control module, all in one. For that reason, it does have to be programmed to your VIN. You might get lucky at the junkyard if installing one from a KK with exactly the same options and year as yours, but you will likely need to get it programmed with a fancy scan tool at a good mechanic or dealer.

Ok. I pulled dose box and aside from smell on the top circuit board showed nothing out of place. I know some things one cannot see. However from the top where fuses and relays are is the burnt electrical smell. I pulled all the relays and fuel pump still running with key off at full speed. It will stop if I pull the fuse. I hate to throw another $300.00 into this for a rebuilt programmed fuse box if it is not the issue. Anyone thing about the fuel pressure switch? Do I have one? Where may it be?

If it's not the issue it's been wrecked by the issue and will need to be replaced.
I'd pull it out and get a meter on the wires to see if anything is shorting out.

I was going to try the fuel relay bypass that is described and sold by Verticle Visions and see what happens as it is only $7.00 on Amazon first?
