Hi, there is a ticking/clicking noise coming from the front left of my jeep. the first time i noticed it was while driving when it felt like i had a flat Tyre the vibration from it. I have taken the wheel off and there is small dots of grease all on the lower control arm/ wish bone and the chassis above the control arm. I put the wheel back on and moved it and it i could hear to ticking coming from the front drive shaft connecting the transfer case to the front diff.

does anyone know what is wrong with it?

That CV joint is bad. Bet there's a small rip in the boot that let all the grease out.

With.the grease all over the a arm you woukd think it's the left front CV shaft and not the prop shaft

x2. It seems that the OP is describing two different boots.
