You are probably right, Jeepchic79. We had 1 that showed up in our small brood this year and as soon as he made the first hint of a sound that resembled a crow, he was gone. However, be extra careful even with the hens. I leaned into the coop a couple of months ago and one of them felt trapped. She flew into my face and went straight for my eyes. I instinctively closed them, but she managed to scratch above and below BOTH eye sockets. According to some of the folks on BYC ( http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/index.php ), they see the reflection in your eyes and attack them.

Oh, my parents, 4 sisters, and us all want eggs along with the people giving us the chikcens, they want eggs too so we should be all good. It's getting colder too so the laying will slow down alot.

Well if u need to sell a couple Hens i would like 2 more actually need 2 more my prize one got killed by someones stupid pit bull 3 weeks ago lol going to free cycle one of the roosters and going to eat one this saterday ! lol

Snap 'em, de-cap 'em, lots of boiling water and the feathers practically fall off. Smells bad , but tastes SOOOOO good. Free cycle is a good thing, too, sometimes. Good luck to you. Keep on wheelin'.
