Well, I'm thinking I might not have enough money to do an entire fluid change, so I need to make a priority list of which fluids are most important.

Here is what I'm looking to change can you guys prioritize it for me?

Motor Oil
Engine Coolant
Trans Fluid
T-Case Fluid
Differential Oil
Power Steering Fluid
Brake Fluid

Depends on when each of those fluids were last changed. Can you tell us?

Motor oil is about 500 miles from due.

I have personally never changed the others since I have had the Jeep which has been a year and 3 months

But you can do the ****** yourself if you want... Just can be messy.
You can only empty the pan and change the filter yourself. You can't do a flush nor reprogram the computer. ****** service should be done by the dealer.

on here
I would change the oil and filter. Then stockpile the other fluids. You don't have to buy everything at once. Then I would do the front and rear diff using the same fluid cause that's just me (75-140 syn) and I don't have to buy two different fluid weights. Then I would do the ****** and t-case together since they both take ATF+4 . just drop the ****** pan and do a filter change and replace the fluid..maybe also the power steering fluid then too (also ATF+4) . Another day do the coolant flush and then the brakes.

That is just me.

True. But please explain the reprogramming....
When you change the fluid, you need to reset the transmission computer so it can relearn your driving habits/adapt to the new fluid.

By dropping the pan, you are only draining 1/3 of the total ****** fluid which is why a flush is the only way to get all of the old fluid out/new fluid in.

I don't really believe that the computer needs to be reset for a ****** fluid change. Especially if you only do a pan drop and filter change. I put a ****** pan drain plug in when I did mine. That way I can drain it 1/3 at a time. Did the filter change initially. Took 6 qts to fill back up. Then plan to just pull the plug at each oil change for a while and continue to cycle fresh fluid thru it.

i do the same except i dont have a drain plug. i use a suction type method as in this video. does a mind good to know that new fluid is always making its way into the ****** at each oil change.
heres the video....

and just for kicks, i also unhook the battery during each change of oil until i finish that AND pulling out the ****** fluid and putting the new back in. dont know if that really needs to be done to help the "re-learn" thing, but i guess it couldnt hurt..?..?
