It was in the 70's today and the sun was out when I was washing it but it got cloudy when I went to the lakefront to take these pictures.

This is a few blocks from my townhouse.

There was a cop in the parking lot as I was driving around looking for a nice spot to take a picture. After I got out of the Jeep and starting taking pictures he ignored me totally afterwards.

There's also a Casino just to the right of the Jeep which you can see here in the background.

Very nice. And in the 70's? Try 4 (without wind-chill) where I am. #-o

Thanks All!

The install went pretty well after you interpret the pict-o-graphs. You have to mount some brackets through the grill and some at the tow points, you also need to reach the grill mount holes through the fog light access in the the wheel wells. After I put the mounts in place I was able to attach the grill brackets and then position the guard for the bottom mounts.

All-in-all I was able to do it myself so it can't be that hard!

The funny part in the instructions was when they advised you to throw away your front tow hooks...

The color matching is now starting to bite me a bit because I want some Manik tail light guards and they don't come in Patriot Blue. I think I'll go to an auto body place and order some factory paint so when I do get another accessory like the guards I can paint them myself and have some leftover for touch-ups.

I like that pinstripe - it breaks up the black - and looks good.

"throw away your tow hooks"!!! Just shows you how smart the people are that write the directions.

Now you and jeepjeepster have the cleanest jeeps.

Hmmm, I thought all of the Limited's had these but looking at the pics in the gallery it must have been an option.

My pin-stripes are a silver metal-flake and here is a closer pic.
