fender trimming

does anyone know how to or have already done a fender trimming job on their KJ. Pics would be great too

I didn't do any fender trimming, but I cut out the holes in my plastic front bumper when I installed my tow hooks. I used a dremel with a cutting bit and it went through the plastic like it was butter. That should work on the plastic fender.

Just a thought.

Me too, but be careful, the dremmel will take off on ya if not careful.

The dremel seems to work better with certain bits. I never remember which ones, so its trial and error for me.

Also be careful, dremeled plastic can be really HOT. I toasted a couple fingertips when I dremeled out part of my dash structure.

Haha I have the package for the bit I used....Dremel 561 Multipurpose bit.

I wonder if there is a specific bit for plastics? ....or just multipurpose
