That explains everything... Those are as accurate as a dollar store altimeter or compass!

My EVICs have always been accurate..... stock of course. It's useless once modified.

Yeah those evics are not remotely acurate.Gotta hand calculate your mileage.

The best I've seen was 21.95mpg's going from MOAB back to Colorado Springs,it ain't a flat drive by anymeans(I-70 and I-25),was lifted,32" tires,4.10's,KJ weighing 5500lbs,and doing 78mph almost the whole way.

The Jeep is stock other than the RV hookup but that is by no means a real mod lol

I did the exact same trek...and got 17. :shrug:

I think the EVIC is off, speedo reads low by 3 MPH.....

But then I have bigger tires, and I was going north of 70.

Yeah, I've noticed that my speedo may be off a bit too, but in the other direction. When I pass those automatic radar speed signs, it always reads slower than my speedo.
I also tend to drive like an old lady, gentle on the throttle and at the speed limit.....unless I'm in a hurry, then I drive like an a-hole
