Hi all
Working on my 2002 3.7 and I have a slight exhaust leak. Looks and sounds like its from the passenger side clamp where it attaches to the exhaust manifold.

Is there a gasket here? Cant find and info saying if there is or isn't...
Bought one of the donut gaskets but I think that is just for the y pipe...not this connection.

Any help appreciated.

No gasket. That V-clamp just locks and seals the two pieces. I reused mine when I pulled the engine years ago but I read they should be replaced if ever removed.

I would definitely try snugging it up. Sort of a pain to change. A 10mm stubby ratcheting box end worked great for me.

Passenger side was wayyy loose.
Could actually get a deep socket and ratchet on it. Driver side was pretty snug but took a half turn with the ratcheting end wrench.
Problem solved!
