The front drivers side bolt of the ****** pan was broken when trying to torque it over the weekend. The only way to get in to drill it out with a normal drill would be to remove that part of the exhaust pipe that sits in front of the ****** pan (the exhaust pipe is in the way and there isn't enough clearance to allow the drill in). All of the pipes have been loosened, but we are not able to separate the y-pipe from the crossover pipe. Is there a trick to this?

Or does such a thing exist as a drill bit extension...?

Yes, you can buy drill bit extensions.. Ive got one.

Only thing is they are made for many different sizes of bits and if you need to use a small bit it will be off centered. At least thats the way way mine was.

I got mine at Ace Hardware. Take the size bit(s) with you and try to find the size that works best. You will see what I mean by being offset when you look at how the extension tightens down on the bit.

Idk why the exhaust isnt coming off. Probably just rusted together.
