Knowing the exact brand & part # would be helpful. Was it a 2 nozzle or 4 nozzle?

If you have a scanner with live data capability, check out all available pids and see if anything looks amiss. Fuel trims would be the first in the list I'd look at. When's the last time you changed the O2s?

Malfunctioning O2s can cause misfires, even in just one cylinder. If you don't know the last time the O2s were replaced, it might be a good time to do it. Replace with only NTK brand. If you're feeling especially cheap, disconnect the electrical plugs going to both upstream O2s, erase the codes and see if the misfire comes back.
