I was changhing the thermostat, water pump, and coolant temp sensor today. My neighbor graciously offered to help me and everything went great until we got to the temp sensor. There is two wire harnesses to unplug the first one is the temp sensor itself and I don't know what the other is. I included a picture. What happened and the emergency is he went to pull it out and the whole harness and plug with the prongs came out as shown in pictures....what is this go to and how easy/expensive is it to fix?

MAP sensor if it’s the sensor just above the coolant temp sensor.

Figured that out. Now the problem is I changed the thermostat, water pump, coolant temp sensor. Now the car is still overheating. I'm pretty sure I bled the lines correctly, the electric fan and clutch fan is working but I can't figure out why it's still overheating. When the car heats up the top radiator line is hot as he'll but the bottom is still cool.

Did you flush it? Sounds like it might have an instruction somewhere

How did you fill it and where did you fill it from?

I had a problem my first radiator drain/fill which was only solved by adding coolant through the bottom hose first. (Just enough to prime it.)

To add on to the point of where to add coolant there should be that bleeder bolt that you can remove to add coolant directly to the block. That would take out any guess work of whether the system is primed up. If need be I can go out and snap a pic.

Yes this is the air bleed hex at top rad hose. When cold try to add some here, or when hot slightly open it to release air.

The reservoir fill should be at the cold line each morning when cold, add some as necessary.
The cap on the recovery tank, should be inspected when cold to ensure the gasket is not broken as well.
Hoat or Zerex G-05 coolant should be used ONLY !!!
Did you use a Mopar thermostat and orientate it at the 12 o'clock position?
Related OP thread with thermostat specs- information I added in this thread.
