If you bought the Jeep used and the dealer didn't update Chrysler with the ownership change they will want you to verify ownership and update their records too. When i used that link to get my build sheet they sent me an email and asked me to call them to verify ownership. Seems like a lot of hassle over a build sheet but its part of their personal info protection policy i guess.

Or you can e-mail them like I did: [email protected]

Include your name, address, and VIN number... and tell them you'd like a copy of your build sheet. That's how I got mine.

You can also get it instantly from any jeep dealer. You will need to give them your last 8# of your vin.

Thats where i sent an email... They emailed me back and said that the name supplied doesn't match the name on record. So then i had to call them and give them info, they wanted purchase date, dealer name, drivers license number to check identity, and then my name, address, phone number, and email address. Then they gave up the build sheet and now they send me emails and mailings with specials and stuff.... Figures.
