Does anyone know the transmission pan thickness?

I want to clean up my transmission pan (possibly my oil pan as well) with a wirebrush/wheel and then give it some primer and paint. Some of the black coating on it has rusted/flaked off and I just want to make sure I am not going to puncture the pan itself. 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7L. Thickness of the oil pan as well if you know it. I appreciate it and thanks for the help!

too thin. mine was peeling and i could actually feel it flex. had to replace it. It's dirt cheap. Cost me $13CDN from the dealer so you can imagine how thin it might be

that is a bummer... i will have to see what i can do because the trans oil and filter were just changed the other day. never did it before and don't have the resources anymore so i had to outsource to get it completed. time for some careful rust work i guess!
