For anyone out there with the NSG370
I had another post where I was asking about gear box oil because I had been having trouble shifting. I would have the clutch pushed in but the shifter did not want to go in to gear. had to push way too ******* the shifter or the temporary solution I found was pumping the clutch 2 or 3 times would then make it easier to move the shifter into a gear.
I have been thinking maybe my slave cylinder is leaking. This started around the beginning of October.
This week my battery gave up on me. Yesterday I bought a brand new battery and installed it. Since that moment all difficult shifting symptoms have vanished.
The old battery had not been supplying sufficient current for a couple of months and the jeep was just trying to warn me. Hopefully this helps a couple of people to not learn the hard way, like I did!
