Did ALL Liberty KJ's come with a roof rack?

It appears that this was a standard piece of equipment because if you remove it the back trim that goes down to the rear window comes off with it.
It would take some custom made pieces to fill the voids to look stock without the Roof Rack rails.
Did ALL KJ's come with a Roof Rack?

ALL kj's came with roof RAILS, not racks.
Even all renegades didn't come with those big basket things.

Beyond highly incorrect.

MOST came with roof rails. This was and always has been an OPTION.

MOST 2.4L KJs came WITHOUT the rails.
MOST 3.7L KJs came WITH the rails.
ALL '03-'04 KJ Renegades came with the plastic roof basket, and lightbar.
'05 is when this was no longer standard.

There are SEVERAL KJs *and* KKs running around without roof rails. The ones that came without it uses a plastic piece to fill up the space.

There seems to have been three "levels" of the Sport trim level over the years, there's the "base model" Sport, "mid level" Sport, which most people have, if they selected that trim level, and the "Limited without the leather seats" Sport, which my cousin used to have.

All depends on the options you check!

I agree. I mean look at this thing. Aside from the snorkel, Patriot Blue paint and gilacopter mod, this thing looks horrible! Needs roof rails!

All that means is that you have not seen one WITHOUT them from the factory.

To be honest its rare to see one without. I think i've only actually seen two in person and they were very base 2wds probably with the 2.4s

The plastic roof baskets (aka "Tupperware") did NOT come on the '02 Renegades. That did not appear until '03, IIRC.

They do help with getting tree limbs up off the roof.

That explains everything. No wonder TBJ is all over that snorkel stuff. Thanks Dave. But why the JK?

I was able to get the covers off the ends and tighten down the loose 8mm's now it's fine.
I was going to take it off but it was just loose screws under the cover.
