Well, I've fitted the lift. But I got a banging sound from one of the front corners. So my brother and I stripped down the noisey side and rebuilt it making sure everthing was torqued up properly.
There was no improvement in the noise, so we looked a little deeper and noticed the LBJ was clanging about, so it needs to be replaced.
So I can't tell you too much about the ride except the Jeep does feel high. When I got out of it after our test drive I miss judged the extra height like you would miss a step!
Anyway, I'm changing the LBJ this week, so I will be able to drive it soon (hopefully)!
The fitting is not easy. It took me and brother (who is a qualified mechanic) about 10 hours to install the lift. The hardest part was fitting the strut in with the extra 2.5". Getting the bottom clevis bolt in was difficult. But I think it's going to be worth it.
